Beacon Man Accused Of Stealing FedEx Truck
Police said the truck was stolen from Long Island and driven to the Hudson Valley.
BEDFORD, NY — A Dutchess County man was accused of stealing a FedEx truck from Long Island. The New York State Police arrested Jose A. Rios, 52, of Beacon, and charged him with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony.
Police said, shortly after midnight Friday, troopers were sent to Interstate 684 to look for a stolen FedEx truck.
The truck was found traveling north in the area of mile marker 18 on I-684.

Rios was the sole occupant and was taken into custody without incident with assistance from the Westchester County Police.
He was arraigned in the Town of Bedford Court and sent to the Westchester County Jail without bail.
