Bedford Central School District Public Budget Hearing Wednesday
Voters will have their say on the district's planned $144,465,256 spending package for 2021-2022 May 18, when the budget is on the ballot.
BEDFORD, NY — The final public hearing on the proposed 2021-22 budget for the Bedford Central School District will be held at 7 p.m. on May 5 at Fox Lane Middle School.
The meeting will detail the spending plan for the upcoming school year. The proposed budget is $144,465,256, with a 3.38 percent increase over the 2020-21 spending package.
School officials said the tax levy will increase by 2.25 percent if the budget is approved by voters later this month.

Two board of education seats for three-year terms are on the ballot.
The annual budget vote will be from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on May 18. Polling locations by election district:
