Broadway Is Back And It's Outdoors At The Bedford Playhouse
The Great White Way heads north for the summer. The Bedford Playhouse borrows some of Broadway's most talented performers and directors.

BEDFORD, NY — Those of us who miss Broadway performances, but who aren’t quite ready to head back to crowded theaters in the most densely populated city in the country, are not alone, but the Bedford Playhouse is offering the perfect solution.
The Playhouse’s “Broadway in Bedford” series will feature actual Broadway luminaries bringing the theater experience to the wide open outdoor space on the venue’s lawn. Each of the four live performances this summer will take a unique look at the Great White Way.
Dan Micciche put together the marquee-worthy programs. The famed musical director and conductor of the Broadway smash hit "Wicked" has called in favors and is bringing involuntarily idled theater stars to the Bedford Playhouse outdoor lawn stage.

The series kicks off on May 23 with “The Best of Broadway.” The night will feature familiar Broadway faces Dee Roscioli, Edward Watts and Kara Lindsay.
On June 26, the series continues with a queer twist. To celebrate Pride weekend, traditional men’s tunes will be sung by women and women’s tunes belted by men.

The performance will focus on Broadway's leading ladies on July 25. The series will wrap up with a look at the halcyon days of the New York musical theater scene with “The Golden Age of Broadway.”
Tickets are available for individual shows or can be purchased as a series. A series subscription to all four shows is $80. Individual tickets can be purchased for $25. All of the performances are general admission. Seating may be limited by social distancing protocols in place at the time of the performance.
