
Fox Lane High School student Charlotte Herber is among several announced for this year's Intel Science Talent Search semifinalists, Intel announced.
There are 300 student semifinalists, according to Intel, a field that narrows to 40 finalists. The finalists will go to Washington, DC in March and compete for a $100,000 top award, according to Intel.
The full list of semifinalists is atthis link. According to a bookletthat is linked to Intel's website, the official name of Herber's work is "Evidence of Toll-Like Receptor Nine-Mediated Amelioration of Amyloid Pathology in a TgSwDI Mouse Model of Alzheimer’s Disease".
