Lanes Reopened On I-684 Thursday: UPDATE
The cause of the closure was an overturned truck, the DOT said.

The northbound lanes of Interstate 684 which were closed Thursday morning after a dump truck rolled over reopened around noon. The highway had been closed in one direction for more than two hours.
The truck overturned north of Exit 6 about 9:30 a.m., lohud.com said.
It had been carrying road sand.

BEDFORD, NY — The state Department of Transportation has announced a road closure on I-684 Thursday. The DOT said all northbound lanes of I-684 at Exit 6 - NY 35 are closed.

The state police said that a dump truck rolled over near mile marker 17 closing all three lanes. The duration of closure is as yet unknown.
The incident happened at 9:42 a.m.
