Deadline To Pay Bedford, Westchester Taxes Coming Up

BEDFORD, NY — The last day to pay the town of Bedford and Westchester County taxes, without penalty, is Friday.

Bedford Receiver of Taxes Amy Pectol said the hours for the tax office are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Due to social distancing and occupational regulations, payments in person can be made by appointment only.

Residents can also pay online through the town of Bedford website. The town is accepting electronic check and credit card payments online. There is a $5.00 fee for paying by electronic check and a 2.5% fee for paying by credit card. Please note that the website is shut down every Thursday morning from 1:45 am to 5:00 am for maintenance.

There is also a dropbox just outside the front door of Bedford Town House at 321 Bedford Rd in Bedford Hills. The dropbox hours are listed as 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. For any payments received through the dropbox, a receipt will be mailed to the address on file.
