HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The easing of pandemic-related restrictions is picking up speed across the region, allowing audience members to once again attend films, stage performances, exhibits, outdoor activities and concerts.

Here are just a few of the best reasons to venture out of the house to enjoy a show. Safety and feeling comfortable in crowds still remains a concern for many, so we also added a few virtual ways to enjoy a night out without leaving home as well.

DRIVE-IN MOVIES: Westchester County Screenings Under the StarsContinuing on alternating Friday nights through September, Screenings Under the Stars returns drive-in style, with five family-friendly movies at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla, two at Croton Point Park and one at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers.
