Farmers Market is Back At Muscoot Farm Starting Mother's Day
What have you missed most during the pandemic? The weekly farmers market returns to Alfred B. DelBello Muscoot Farm on Sunday.
KATONAH, NY — The weekly Muscoot farmers markets are back on the farm after going fallow during the height of the coronavirus pandemic.
Starting on Mother's Day, the local and regional vendors will return from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m every Sunday until Nov. 21. Proceeds from the unique outdoor shopping (and browsing) event not only benefit sustainability projects, but the market also features farmers who employ sustainable innovative agriculture techniques.
“We are committed to supporting efforts that are good for our environment and proud to welcome local vendors," Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation Commissioner Kathy O’Connor said in a statement announcing the return of the popular event. "We hope you’ll visit with mom this weekend for a relaxing day at the farm.”
