Here Are Things to Do for New Year’s in Westchester
Four things to do to wrap up the year with fun and frolic

The old year 2016 is rapidly dwindling away and 2017 is set to start. If you want to see the old year out with a bang and welcome the new, here are some places to do that:
New Year’s at Noon in New Rochelle: Once again, New Roc City will offer its festive ‘Ring in the New Year at Noon’ event for kids ages 2 – 10 in the atrium from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Parents and kids will enjoy a safe and fun Times Square simulated atmosphere in a safe and fun environment. The highlight of the event is the thrilling count down to a 3,000+ balloon drop at noon, but there will also be face painting, arts and crafts, kiddy rides, clowns, wheels of chance, games, snacks, goody bags, raffle prizes and much more! For more information and to register click here. Space is limited and parents are encouraged to register early. A $10 donation for a family of four will help support the Westchester Children’s Museum. New Roc City is located at 33 Lecount Pl Ste 6, New Rochelle.
New Year’s at the Westchester Broadway Theatre: The Westchester Broadway Theatre is presenting “Saturday Night Fever” live on stage on Saturday night (naturally), but since it is New Year’s Eve, there will be an open bar and hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, as well as a dinner. The Tuxedo Park Orchestra will play and there will be dancing until 2 a.m. The entire evening is $370 per couple, which includes parking and gratuity. For reservations, call the box office at 914-592-2222. The theatre is at 1 Broadway Plaza in Elmsford.

The New Year’s Eve celebration will include all of Westchester’s Winter Wonderland regular activities that begin at 5:00 p.m. that evening, including rides, ice skating, circus performances, strolling characters and more. This year’s Wonderland features Hanneford’s Holiday Circus and the Santa Experience. General admission tickets are $15.
Shadows of the ‘60s at the Paramount: The Paramount Hudson Valley Theater will present “Shadows of the Sixties: A Tribute to Motown’s Super Groups” on Saturday in two showings, at 7 and 10 p.m. The show pays tributes to the legendary stars of Motown such as The Supremes, The Four Tops and Temptations.
