It's A Perfect Time For A Pound Ridge Pop-up Waterpark
There's a free waterpark coming to Town Park, but you'd better make plans now, because the water slides and wet fun are one day only.
POUND RIDGE, NY — There's no need to head out of town this Independence Day weekend now that there's a brand new waterpark coming to town.
UPDATE: This event has been rescheduled for July 11, due to inclement weather in the forecast.

Better hurry though because the free pop-up waterpark in Pound Ridge Town Park won't be around for long. It might start to seem like the wet and wild fun in the sun won't end, but plans are for the inflatable theme park to disappear as suddenly as it arrived.
The festivities will include giant water slides, a dunk tank, a 100-foot-long Slip n' Slide, Rainbow Rapids, the Tropical Splashdown and squirt gun battles. The event presented by the Friends of Pound Ridge will also have a baby Slip n' Slide, food trucks, live music and corn hole contests for the landlubbers among us.

The slippery good times start at 11:30 a.m. on July 3, but the party will begin to deflate at 3 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring their squirt guns to help keep the party going.
