Katonah Lewisboro District Names New Assistant Superintendent

The Katonah Lewisboro School District has appointed Dr. Neill Alleva to the position of Assistant Superintendent.

Katonah Lewisboro — The Katonah Lewisboro School District has announced the appointment of Dr. Neill Alleva to the position of Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources. Alleva will assume his new duties starting on June 21. His hiring was officially approved at the February 25 board meeting.

"Dr. Alleva will be a terrific addition to our team and I'm confident he will help in the continual forward progress of our District," Superintendent Andrew Selesnick said of the hiring decision. "My thanks to those colleagues and community members who were an important part of our hiring process."

Dr. Alleva has served as the Principal of the Mamaroneck Avenue School since 2018 when he was promoted from Assistant Principal of the school. Prior to that, Alleva had worked 15 years as a teacher in the NYC public school system. In addition to a doctorate in organizational leadership in education from Northeastern University, he has master's in education from St. John’s University and a bachelor's in psychology from Temple University.
