KATONAH, NY — The final public hearing on the proposed 2021-22 budget and Candidate Statements for the Katonah-Lewisboro School District will be held on Thursday, May 6.

The meeting will detail the spending plan for the upcoming school year. The proposed budget is $113,242,880, with a 1.59 percent increase over the 2020-21 spending package.

“We are once again presenting a budget that is below the New York State tax levy cap,” school board members wrote in a joint statement asking voters to adopt the budget. “Proposed spending will increase next year by less than 1.6%. We believe the proposed budget thoughtfully supports today’s students and positions our schools and community well for the future.”
