Kohl's Begins Accepting Amazon Returns In NY

Needing to return something to Amazon got a lot easier this week if you are near a Kohl's department store. Plus, the policy is in place in time for Amazon's Prime Day July 15-16.

As of Monday, all of Kohl's more than 1,100 stores around the United States, except Anchorage, Alaska, are accepting eligible Amazon returns.

There are almost 50 Kohl's stores in New York, including 11 in the Hudson Valley and 11 on Long Island. To find the store nearest you, use this location finder.

All you have to do to return an Amazon purchase is follow the instructions on Kohl's webpage.

After choosing the Kohl's drop-off option and receiving a QR code via email, you'll take your item or items to the participating Kohl's store and associates there will pack, label and ship your return for free.

In 2017, Kohl's and Amazon began a pilot program for returns in 100 stores in the Los Angeles, Chicago and Milwaukee areas.

Kohl's and Amazon have been working together since 2017 with Kohl's selling Amazon gadgets such as Kindles and Echos at some of its stores.
