Lasdon Park Holiday Events: Care for Plants; Make Ornaments and Bath Oils

There are a few programs offered at Lasdon Park, Arboretum and Veterans Memorial in Somers for the month of December. They are:

Caring for Holiday Plants

Sunday, Dec. 1 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Join the horticulturist in the Shop at Lasdon and learn how to care for those beautiful holiday plants to keep them growing all winter long.
 
Holiday Ornament-Making Workshop

Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10:30 a.m. to noon

Make your own unique ornaments with colorful gourds. Fee: $10 per person; pre-registration required at (914) 886-5108.
 
Bath and Beauty Workshop

Saturday, Dec. 14 from 10:30 a.m. to noon

Make your own bath oils as you learn about herbs, essential oils and aromatherapy. Fee: $15; pre-registration required at (914) 886-5108.
