Former Bedford Supervisor Lee Roberts will be honored tonight by the group Bedford 2020 with an event that it calls a "salute" to her. The group announced that it will be at 6:30 p.m. at The Harvey School in Katonah.
The event is meant to honor her 20 years of service, an announcement for it notes.Â
Olivia Farr, a co-founder of Bedford 2020, stated: "Lee leaves a remarkable legacy as an environmental advocate that has put Bedford on the map as a leadership town in the county, state and country."
Farr also noted that she was a found board member of the group. Bedford 2020 will be a beneficiary of the event, she explained. The event has an extensive list of co-hosts and sponsors, which is available at this link.
