A woman from Mount Vernon was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) following an automobile accident in on Interstate 684 in Bedford, New York State Police announced.
The woman - her age was given as 48 - was arrested on Dec. 22, and an investigation was done following an investigation into the accident, police explained. She is scheduled to appear in Bedford's local court on Jan. 9.
