Police Issue 21 Tickets at Checkpoint
Bedford Police, in conjunction with the county and state police departments, conducted a DWI checkpoint that resulted in 2 DWI and 19 other arrests.
State, county and local police officers manned a DWI checkpoint Friday night on Route 117 which yielded two DWI arrests and 19 other arrests, according to state police.
Between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Aug. 10, 125 cars traveled through the checkpoint and 62 drivers were detained, police said. There were a total of 21 tickets issued, among them:
Victor Estrada, age 34, of Carmel was charged with DWI after providing a breath sample of 0.14% BAC. He is due in North Castle Court on August 21.

Fallon A. Gaines, age 27, of White Plains was charged with DWI and refusing a breath sample. She is due in North Castle Court on August 21.
