UPDATE: Power Outages Increase In Putnam County

NYSEG reports all but six outages in Westchester County have been restored.

PUTNAM VALLEY, NY — More power outages have been reported in Putnam County.

As of 5:30 p.m. Thursday, NYSEG said 507 Putnam Valley customers are without electricity. The power company estimated restoration by 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9.

Seventeen customers in Carmel are waiting for the lights to come back on. That is estimated to occur by 10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9.

There are six outages in Katonah, which should be restored by 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9.


BEDFORD, NY — The number of NYSEG customers without electricity has increased slightly.

As of 3 p.m. Thursday, in Bedford, there are now 108 customers, while Lewisboro still has 40, and Pound Ridge has two.

In Putnam County, one Putnam Valley customer without electricity. There are seven in Southeast.


BEDFORD, NY — NYSEG reports 123 customers without power in New York, most of them in Westchester County.

In Bedford, 76 customers are reported without service. Most of those are near Mount Kisco, along Succabone Road and Fox Lane.

In Lewisboro, 40 customers are out, most on Todd Road. Power is expected to be restored by 4 p.m., according to the NYSEG storm outage list.

Five customers are out in Somers. Power should be restored soon.
