Public Hearing for Peddling & Soliciting; Town Board Items

1. The Bedford Town Board will have a public hearing tonight for changing the town code's coverage of peddling and soliciting, according to the meeting's agenda. Change's include a "Do No Knock Registry" where people would be able to file out forms to keep soliciting and peddling from their premises. A copy of the proposed changes is at this link, and the public hearing is at 7:55 p.m. at the town house in Bedford Hills.

2. The regular town board meeting, according to the agenda, follows the public hearing and will be at 8 p.m. The agenda is at this link.

3. The National Weather Service predicts fog today, with a high temperature of 49 degrees in Bedford Hills and Katonah and at 50 degrees in Bedford.

4. Mount Kisco Hebrew Congregation announced that it's having a Chanukah party.
