Vaccines at School For Bedford and Katonah-Lewisboro Students
Bedford Superintendent Joel Adelberg announced the pop-up coronavirus vaccine site at Fox Lane HS for area students ages 12 and up only.

The vaccination clinic will be conducted by the Westchester County Department of Health. In addition to Bedford School District students, Katonah-Lewisboro School District students and family members will also be eligible to receive shots.
The clinic will take place at Fox Lane High School in the large gymnasium on May 20, from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The first dose Pfizer vaccine will be available and free to both students and families, Adelberg said in a statement announcing plans for the at school clinic.

Because the clinic on school property will primarily serve students under the age of 18, there will be a few extra rules in place.
Students under 16-years-old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If a non-guardian adult accompanies the student, then the parent must be available by phone to give consent for the child to be vaccinated. If the parent cannot be reached, the vaccine will not be given.

For students over the age of 16, parents and/or guardians are encouraged to be present. If the student does not have a signed consent form and a legal guardian can't be reached on the phone, the student will not be vaccinated.
Consent and screening forms are available in both English and Spanish.
This is not a walk-in clinic and there are a limited number of slots available. Appointments can be made here.
