[PHOTOS] Two Bedford POs Promoted to Sergeants
Each is replacing an official who recently retired.
Two members of the Bedford Police Department were recognized for their promotions to the rank of sergeant at Tuesday night's town board meeting.
Michael Callahan started with BPD in January 2002, after transferring from the New York City Police Department. He is replacing Sgt. Anthony Frasca, who recently retired.
Vincent Gruppuso came from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office to BPD in August 2000. He is replacing Sgt. Matthew Dunn, who also recently retired.

Each is slated to receive a salary of $106,447, according to town documents.
