Update: Pound Ridge Pop-up Waterpark Moved To July 11 Rain Date

We'll have to wait a little longer for the free, one-day-only waterpark coming to Town Park, but there's no sense complaining about rain.

POUND RIDGE, NY — The bad news is the weather has delayed the pop-up water park planned for Pound Ridge Town Park this Saturday; the good news is the party has been moved to July 11 and a new feature has been added to the line-up.

The festivities will still include giant water slides, a dunk tank, a 100-foot-long Slip n' Slide, Rainbow Rapids, the Tropical Splashdown and squirt gun battles. The event presented by the Friends of Pound Ridge will also have a baby Slip n' Slide, food trucks, live music and corn hole contests for the landlubbers among us.

A mobile toy shop has been added to the fun as well. There won't be any need to feel left out if you forget your water balloons, squirt gun or pool toys.

The slippery good times now start at 11:30 a.m. on July 11. The party will begin to deflate at 3 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring their squirt guns to help keep the party going.
