Weekend Snow Forecast Revised for Hudson Valley
We tell you what the snow accumulation will be and when it will happen.

The bad news is that there is still snow in the forecast for this weekend.
The good news? At this point, at least, there is going to be less of it.
Forecasts from the National Weather Service call for snow to overspread the lower Hudson Valley in the early hours of Saturday.

During the day Saturday, snow is likely before noon and then turns to rain and snow, except for the Mid-Hudson Valley, where the weather will feature rain and snow.
Accumulations in the lower Hudson Valley could be between 1 and 2 inches. Precipitation totals for the Poughkeepsie area will be between 0.1 inch and 0.25 inch.

For Saturday night, in the lower Hudson Valley, you can expect snow before midnight, totaling a half inch or less.
In the Mid-Hudson Valley, rain and snow is forecast. Precipitation will be about one-tenth of an inch.
It pays to remember that the forecast could change if the weather system shifts its location further north or further south.
