2 Charged With Selling Vapes To Minors In Nassau Police Sting
Police say they used underage agents to see if stores across the county were selling vaping products to minors.
An undercover operation led to the arrest of two people for selling vaping products to minors, Nassau County police said.
According to police, officers conducted operation "Vape Out" on Thursday, which had underage agents going into stores and trying to purchase age-restricted vaping products.

- Shahid Faraz, 39, of East Meadow. Police say he sold four JUUL mint pods to a person under 21 at the 7-11 at 2680 Jerusalem Ave. in Bellmore.
- Bashir Hassan, 29, of Brooklyn. Police say he sold four JUUL mint pods to a person under 21 at Smoke Zone, located at 3484 Merrick Road in Seaford.
Both men were charged with Town of Hempstead violations for sale of age restricted products. They are due back in Second District Court in Hempstead on Dec. 3.
