2 Seriously Injured In Nassau Crash

BREAKING: A 29-year-old man behind the wheel is believed to have suffered a medical emergency before the crash, police say.

NORTH BELLMORE, NY – Two people were seriously injured in a single-car crash in North Bellmore Monday evening.

According to Nassau Police, a 29-year-old man was driving south on Bellmore Avenue when he is believed to have suffered a medical emergency, causing his vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a tree south of Newbridge Road at 5 p.m. A 31-year-old woman was a passenger in the car.

Both people suffered multiple trauma injuries and were taken to a local hospital where they are listed in serious condition. Police did not release their names.
