Annual Bellmore Easter Parade Set For Saturday

Spring is here, and Easter is just around the corner. Which means its time for egg hunts and Bellmore's annual Easter Parade.

This year's parade is set for Saturday, April 8 at noon, rain or shine. It will start in front of Bellmore Village, and marchers will assemble in front of the Bellmore Movies on Pettit Avenue at 11:45 a.m.

Children are encouraged to wear their best Easter bonnets in the parade. All of the children who participate in the parade will receive Easter eggs filled with treats, as well as some extra surprises, provided by the parade's sponsor, the Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores.

Each child will also have a chance to have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny, but parents have to bring their own camera.
