NORTH BELLMORE, NY — Wellington C. Mepham High School has rescheduled its annual St. Baldrick’s Chop Your Lock's for Charity event for the entire Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District to Wednesday, April 22, from 6-8 p.m., at 2401 Camp Ave. in Bellmore.

Students have so far raised more than $6,200 toward this year’s event. Last year they earned more than $50,000 in donations to benefit the St. Baldrick's Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports childhood cancer research. They anticipate having more than 100 shavees and more than 50 hair donors to Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths program.

Attendees will be entertained by the Amityville Highland Pipes and Drum Band, who plan to perform during the event, and there will be a special sneak peek at the Mepham Skull and Bones spring musical, “Footloose,” as well as raffles, food and music.
