BELLMORE, NY — Bellmore students in the Charles A. Reinhard Early Childhood Center, Winthrop Avenue School and Shore Road School disembarked from buses and family cars on Sept. 8 and 9 ready to start the 2020-2021 school year.

Board of Education trustees, administrators and faculty warmly welcomed the students following new social distancing and mask-wearing guidelines, ready to “Lead and Learn” despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Our star staff has been preparing for the reopening of schools for months,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Joseph Famularo said. “I know that by working together we will have a successful and productive school year, and further build on our unique and nationally recognized Bellmore Stars Character Development Program.”
