The Sanford H. Calhoun High School varsity cheerleaders became Nassau County Champions at the Nassau County Section 8 Championship on Feb. 26. They had an undefeated season in the Division 1 Co-Ed category.
They will be competing in the New York State Championship on Saturday, March 4 in Syracuse, New York.
“We are so proud of the team and their coaches, Chrissy Meiselas and Crystal Cass, for a great fall and winter season and successful competitions this winter,” said Principal Nicole Hollings.
