Crime Report: Drain Covers Thrown off School Roof, Stolen Backpack

Recent Bellmore incident reports from the seventh and first precincts.

The following information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's Seventh Precinct and First Precinct incident reports. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate a conviction

  • Five drain covers were thrown off the roof of Grand Avenue Middle School in Bellmore and struck two vehicles sometime between May 25-28. 
  • A backpack was stolen from the checkout counter of the Goodwill Store on Merrick Road in Bellmore on May 29.
  • The hood and side of a 2005 Chevrolet Caprice parked at Appelbees on Sunrise Highway was keyed on May 30.
  • Tires were slashed on a vehicle parked near the intersection of Newbridge Road and Oak Street on June 2.
