Crimes Nearby: Arrest for Knifepoint ATM Robbery, Stolen Tires

The following information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's incident reports. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime
East Meadow
- Sometime between May 9 and May 17, a basement window screen of a house  located on Winter Place was broken.
- The front window and a lawn ornament on a house on Front Street was reported broken on May 13.
- On May, 15 a the window of a vehicle parked on East Meadow Avenue was broken.
- The Nassau County Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying an unknown suspect who threw a rock through the window of Active Auto Glass, located at 2507 North Jerusalem Road last month.
- On May 15, a car was stolen on Hilltop Road.
- On May 15, an IPhone and an IPad was stolen from Wisdom Lane Middle School. Â
- On May 21, a window was broken on a car on Bucket Lane.
- The Nassau County Police Department announced on May 21 that they arrested a Levittown woman in connection with a knifepoint ATM robbery that occurred last month at while someone was withdrawing money from an ATM machine at Citibank off Hempstead Turnpike. For more details, click here.
- Sometime between 12:20 a.m. and 7:40 a.m. on May 15, three tires and rims were stolen from a Hondra Accord that was parked on Cynthia Lane in Merrick.
- A Merrick woman was charged on May 17 with grand larceny for allegedly stealing more than $90,000 from the Roosevelt-based waterproofing company where she worked as comptroller. Click this link for more.
- Sometime between 9 p.m. on May 16 and 1 p.m. on May 17, a power washer was stolen from a shed on Frederick Avenue.
- On May 16, at 9:26 a.m., a man reported that his chainsaw on Shore Drive was missing.
- A motor and other miscellaneous items were reported missing off a boat at Adler Court on May 6.
- An attempted burglary was reported on May 16 at Ricky and Luis Auto Inc. on 570 Hicksville Road.
- Recycling bins were reported damaged at the intersection of Bayview Avenue and Hemlock Place on May 15.
- A 21-year old Wantagh man was killed on the southbound Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway between exits 3 and 4 on May 20. For more details, click here.
