Crimes Nearby Part I: Man Accused of Sex with Boy, iPhone Stolen

Recent criminal activity reported for Wantagh, Seaford and Levittown.

The following information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's incident reports. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime.

Levittown
  • A home on Flamingo Lane was burglarized on June 20. No items were removed from the house.
  • A beer bottle was thrown at a vehicle on Bucket Lane on June 22.
  • A 24-year old Levittown man was arrested on June 27 after attempting to sell fake LSD to an undercover Nassau County detective. For more details, click here.
  • A 54-year old Levittown man was arrested on June 28 after allegedly having a five-month long sexual relationship with a 12-year-old boy. For more details, click here. 
Seaford
  • The window of a vehicle parked on Jackson Avenue in Seaford was discovered damaged on June 15. No items were removed.
  • A leaf blower was reported missing on June 20 from a shed in a backyard on William Street in Seaford.

Wantagh

  • Police were called to the Wantagh Long Island Rail Road station on June 11 in regards to a suspicious garbage bag that was reported. After an investigation it was determined the bag contained empty paint cans.
  • An iPhone was reported stolen from Wantagh Park on June 23.
