Crimes Nearby Part II: Stolen Car, Fireworks Arrest
Recent criminal activity reported for Wantagh, Seaford and Levittown.

The following information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's incident reports. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime.
Levittown
- On May 25, police said a car was stolen outside King Kullen off Hempstead Turnpike.
- An East Rockaway man was arrested Friday morning after he allegedly bilked two twin elderly men in Seaford out of $200,000 on repair work that was supposed to be completed. For more on this story, click here.Â
- Arson Squad detectives arrested a Wantagh man for possession of explosives after he admitted to setting off fireworks from his Park Avenue home on the night of May 25. For more details, click here.
- A man reported on May 19 that someone went under his truck parked at Wantagh Park and removed a spare tire. Two Oceanside men were arrested and charged with third-degree assault on May 30 following a brawl at Jones Beach. For more details, click here.
