Driver Pointed Handgun At Man, Then Drove Off: Police
Police are investigating the incident, and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
BELLMORE, NY — Nassau County police are looking for a man who pointed a gun at another man in Bellmore Thursday morning.
According to police, a 25-year-old man parked his car near the intersection of Newbridge Road and Charles Court at 8:50 a.m. when a brown Mercury Mountaineer SUV pulled up behind him. The man looked at the SUV and saw the driver, who looked to be an older man, was pointing a black handgun at him for several seconds, and then drove away.
The SUV drove down Charles Court before making a U-turn and heading north on Newbridge Road toward the Southern State Parkway.
