Graduation Day For Bellmore-Merrick High School Students

The three schools held ceremonies Sunday that included remarks by the valedictorians and salutatorians.

BELLMORE, NY — Students of the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District became the graduating Class of 2021 Sunday. Separate ceremonies were held at Mepham, Calhoun and Kennedy high schools, the district said in a statement.

The prized pupils were on hand: Valedictorians Max Luft from Mepham, Jasper Seabold from Calhoun and Jake Arlia from Kennedy, who said, "I am not surprised at how triumphantly we persevered through this year,” he said. “The joyful memories we cultivated in our pre-pandemic reality, incentivized us to work hard and cooperate for a brighter future."

The school's salutatorians also spoke: Jack Savalli from Mepham, Michelle Serban from Calhoun and Jordyn Krinsky from Kennedy.
