Fire Engulfs North Bellmore Home; No Injuries: Nassau Police
Flames also caused minor damage to a neighboring house.

NORTH BELLMORE, NY — Flames rose from a North Bellmore home Tuesday afternoon.
Nassau police got the call about a fire at 1594 Little Neck Ave. at 12:41 p.m. All residents were evacuated safely, a police spokesperson said, and no one was injured.
There was minor damage to an adjacent house, a news release by police said.

The North Merrick Fire Department responded and was assisted by the Merrick Fire Department. Approximately 30 firefighters helped battle the blaze.
The Fire Marshals are investigating, but, police said, no criminality is suspected.
