BELLMORE, NY — Anthony Cracco, a coach and athletic director at Wellington C. Mepham High School, was honored in the January 2021 edition of COACH & Athletic Director magazine.

Cracco, who heads the football team, was included in the Sports Under 40: Year in Review. It stated that he won this honor because he “is a driven and accomplished coach and educator with more than 15 years of experience. He has proven to be an inspirational leader, as well as a talented, hardworking football coach — working closely within the school community of Bellmore educating parents on how to support their children in the athletic setting.”

Cracco said he was “honored and humbled” to learn that his Mepham colleagues nominated him.
