National Grid Adds New Feature to Jones Beach Theater
Natural gas company unveils "Grid Zone" at Wantagh music venue that features charging stations for guests.

Music fans who attend concerts this summer at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater will notice a new feature from National Grid.
“National Grid is committed to helping Long Island rebuild after Sandy’s devastation,” said National Grid New York President Ken Daly. “The Nikon at Jones Beach Theater is a place that many National Grid customers and employees have enjoyed for decades, and we wanted to be a part of contributing a space to this historic landmark for future generations to come and enjoy.”
The Grid Zone at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater is located under the facility’s grandstand and is accessible from the concourse level. The unique attraction is open to all guests and features comfortable lounge seating, large flat screen televisions, free phone charging stations, energy efficiency information, interior design inspired by Jones Beach and photos highlighting nostalgic Long Island landmarks. National Grid recently unveiled a similar Grid Zone attraction at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
