New York Mets Lift the Spirit of North Bellmore Boy

The New York Mets recently lifted the spirits of a North Bellmore boy, who was diagnosed with leukemia this year, according to a report on News 12.

Luke Lang was diagnosed with the disease in March, News 12 reported.  

This summer, Lang and his family went to Citi Field, spoke to several players in the dugout and gave many players orange and blue bracelets that read "Losing Is Not An Option," in which many still wear, according to News 12.
