North Bellmore Honors Retiring Principal
Faith Skelos is retiring as principal of the Dinkelmeyer School after more than 25 years with the district.
From N. Bellmore Schools: The North Bellmore School District Board of Education, administrators, parents, students and members of the John G. Dinkelmeyer Elementary School community also took time to recognize retiring Principal Faith Skelos at the Dec. 6 meeting.
Many honored Ms. Skelos with words of reflection and praise, along with gifts of heartfelt gratitude for her 26 1/2 years of service to the district including as a teacher and principal. “I hope you really know the worth of your soul and the people you have impacted,” Superintendent Ms. Testa said as part of her reflection. “It’s the moments in your life that matter most and you are forever part of the fabric that is Dinkelmeyer school.” Ms. Skelos will retire, effective Dec. 31, 2018.
