North Bellmore/North Merrick Little League Honored
The Town of Hempstead recognized the league's 12 Year-Old Major Boys Team for being named Long Island Champions.
The North Bellmore/North Merrick Little League's 12-Year-Old Major Boys Team was recently recognized by the Town of Hempstead for being named the 2012 District and Long Island Champions.
The town presented an official Town of Hempstead Congratulatory sign at a special ceremony held at Gunther Field in North Bellmore. Attending the ceremony were Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray and Councilman Gary Hudes, R-Levittown.Â
