Dave McDonough Fends Off Challenge For 14th Assembly District
BREAKING: See who won in the race between incumbent Republican David McDonough and Democrat Mike Reid.
The results are in for the 14th Assembly District race, and incumbent David McDonough has once again defeated challenger Mike Reid.
In unofficial results Tuesday night, McDonough, a Republican, earned 25,060 votes, compared to Democrat Reid's 19,287, with 86 percent of precincts reporting.
The 14th Assembly District encompasses Jones Beach, Merrick, Bellmore, North Merrick, North Bellmore, Wantagh, Seaford and parts of Roosevelt.
