Stew Leonard's May Come to East Meadow

The beloved food store may open a second chain in Nassau County after its planned Farmingdale location.

Stew Leonard’s is opening a new store in East Meadow, according to Long Island Business News.

The new store will reportedly replace Pathmark, which was located in the 70,000-square-foot space at 1897 Front Street. The space has been vacant since 2013, according to East Meadow Herald.

Stew Leonard’s is also opening a franchise in Farmingdale in early 2016. That location, which is 10,000-square-feet smaller than the space in East Meadow, will reportedly bring 400 new jobs to Long Island.
