Heavy Rain, Thunderstorms To Kick Off Work Week
But, hey, the weekend's not over yet and Sunday will be downright gorgeous.

Thunderstorms will be possible to kick off the work week Monday and rain is expected to fall for a large chunk of the day. But don't despair, the rest of the week looks great. Oh, and Sunday will be nearly perfect as well.
On Monday, the best chance of thunderstorms will be during the afternoon and evening hours, the National Weather Service says. Should models trend farther north, conditions may become more favorable for stronger storms.
“While widespread flooding is not expected, pockets of heavy rain will slow down commutes on some major highways,” AccuWeather Meteorologist Bill Deger said.
