Yogurt & Such Closes on Merrick Road

Yogurt & Such on Merrick Road shuttered last week. 

The business, located at 2014 Merrick Road, sold all natural yogurt and dairy products in addition to salads, sandwiches and soups.

Rick, a local employee, said that he would like to see another restaurant open in the property.

"It is a good strip for a restaurant, so another one would be good," he said. "Maybe a chinese one." 

Even though some storefronts are closing along the busy roadway, a number of new business are set to open including: Vanilla Sky,  Danny's Chinese Kitchen, For Goodness Steaks Dessert City Cafe and Panera Bread.

Chocolate Works of Bellmore-Merrick, a large confectionary emporium, opened on Merrick Road in November.
