Another Snowtober? Storms On Their Way To Chappaqua
The word "snow" has appeared in the forecast for Mount Kisco. Here's what we know about the work week's weather.

MOUNT KISCO, NY — Temperatures much of this week will average 10-15 degrees Fahrenheit below normal. And it'll stay cloudy and windy, so it's going to feel way colder than the 60 degree high we're used to for October.
Then at the end of the week, we could get hit.
Snow storms expected across central New York and New England Monday night and Tuesday-Wednesday shouldn't get close to us.

However, this weekend a large nor'easter has the potential to affect the Hudson Valley.
"Keep in mind that this is a very popular timeframe for massive coastal storms, lingering summer air masses clashing with advancing colder air masses with ocean surface temps still ripe for added fuel," said Alex Marra and Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.

It's too early to say where snow might fall and which regions might just get heavy rain, forecasters said.
"While it is too early to give details on the timing, intensity and which areas may get snow, there seems to be the likelihood of substantial travel delays and disruptions to outdoor activities from the mid-Atlantic coast to New England and perhaps as far west as the Great Lakes region," said Alex Sosnowski, AccuWeather senior meteorologist.
All promise to keep us updated. And we want to hear, because we remember Snowtober. It was Oct. 29, 2011 when the Weather Channel said, "many of you will shovel before you rake the leaves."

Not only did we shovel, but many of us lived without power for days, and some communities cancelled trick-or-treating because there were still too many live wires and downed trees on the roads.
