Chappaqua Families Participate in UJA Food Drive
Food donations benefit the food pantry at Bronx Jewish Community Council

To benefit the food pantry at Bronx Jewish Community Council, which has experienced a 40% increase in demand since Covid hit, Westchester families donated much-needed food items during a UJA-Federation of New York food drive on November 17, 2020. Packages, including breakfast cereal, boxed milk, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, rice, canned meat and fish, and more, were brought to drop-off sites at JCC of Mid-Westchester in Scarsdale and UJA-Federation Northern Westchester office in Mount Kisco. Some packages contained handmade cards and Thanksgiving-themed crafts, as well as toiletries and cleaning supplies. Bronx Jewish Community Council and JCC of Mid-Westchester are UJA network partners.
