MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the incidents to which the Westchester County police responded in Mount Kisco before Thanksgiving.
Wednesday, Nov. 27 – 12:57 p.m. – An 82-year-old woman was injured in a fall at a business on North Bedford Road. She was transported by ambulance to Northern Westchester Hospital Center.
10:31 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to a parking lot on North Bedford Road on a report that a small child had locked himself inside a car while his mom was standing outside it. As officers arrived, the child’s mother was able to get the boy to unlock the door.

Tuesday, Nov. 26 – 8:41 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a store on South Moger Avenue after a manager reported that a man had taken two packs of underwear and left the store without paying for them. Officers located the man on Green Street and took him into custody. Raul Monroy-Esquivel, 49, of Spring Street was booked on a charge of Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor, at the Green Street precinct. He was released pending a Dec. 12 appearance in Mount Kisco Justice Court.
4:02 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a store on South Moger Avenue on a report that a man had left the store with two cans of beer without paying for them. Officers located the man in the Shoppers Park lot and took him into custody. Errol Cross, 58, of Amuso Drive was charged with Petit Larceny and Criminal Trespass 2 nd Degree, misdemeanors. The trespass charge was filed because Cross was previously issued a trespass warning letter from management directing him to stay out of the store. Cross was booked at the Green Street precinct and released pending a Dec. 12 appearance in Mount Kisco Justice Court.

6:10 p.m. – A resident of Kensington Way reported that a wicker couch had been stolen from the rear porch of her residence. She had observed it the day before and noticed it missing about 6 a.m.
Monday, Nov. 25 – 2:21 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Moore Avenue on a complaint of illegally parked vehicles on the street. Two summonses were issued.
2:05 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a business on South Moger Avenue on an activated burglar alarm. The premises were found to be secure and the alarm apparently sounded in error.
Sunday, Nov. 25 – 4:31 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to Barker Street on a report of a fire in an apartment. A resident told officers that a fire had started in his stove but he was able to extinguish it. The Mount Kisco Fire Department also responded and verified that the grease fire was fully extinguished.
