Emotional Crises; Lost Phone; Warrants: Mount Kisco Blotter

MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the recent incidents to which Westchester County police responded in Mount Kisco.

Friday, Jan. 10 – 11:52 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to a business on East Main Street on a report of a woman who was in a highly emotional state. Officers were able to calm the woman and she agreed to be taken to Northern Westchester Hospital Center for evaluation.
2:52 a.m. – A resident reported that someone entered his unlocked vehicle and rummaged through it while it was parked in a lot off North Moger Avenue. Nothing of value had been in the vehicle and nothing was taken. The resident said the car was parked in the lot for about four hours.

Thursday, Jan. 9 – 4:11 p.m. – Justin Meche, 30, of West Main Street, Goldens Bridge, was charged with Aggravated Harassment 2 nd Degree, a misdemeanor. He is accused of making threats to staff members at Northern Westchester Hospital Center during phone calls he made the previous day about a relative being treated there.
10:24 p.m. -- Westchester County Police stopped a vehicle on Preston Way that was observed leaving the grounds of a nearby auto dealership that had closed for business hours earlier. The driver was dropping off auto parts and produced paperwork verifying that he was requested to make an after-hours delivery to the site.
8:56 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Kiscona Road after a home health aide reported that his client was in emotional crisis and was smashing furniture inside the residence. Officers were able to subdue the man, calm the situation and get him to agree to be taken to Northern Westchester Hospital Center for evaluation.
7:43 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Mount Kisco Justice Court after a woman appeared there to report that she was wanted on two outstanding warrants. Miyoshi Robinson, 32, of the Bronx was booked on misdemeanor Petit Larceny charges and released pending a future court appearance.
12:19 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a business on East Main Street after an employee was injured by a door that closed on her hand. The woman was taken by ambulance to Northern Westchester Hospital Center.

Wednesday, Jan. 8 – 8:14 p.m. – A High Street resident reported that she lost her iPhone while patronizing several businesses downtown. She retraced her steps and could not locate it. At 10:15 p.m., a person found the phone on the sidewalk on Main Street and turned it over to police. An officer drove to the woman’s home and returned her phone to her.
3:11 p.m. – A resident reported to County Police that his car was damaged by a hit-and-run driver while it was parked in the Blackeby lot. When an officer responded, the vehicle owner reported that he subsequently found a business card had been left behind by the motorist who damaged his vehicle. He said he would handle the matter privately.

Monday, Jan. 6 – 8 p.m. – An officer on foot patrol in the downtown area observed a woman in Starbucks on South Moger Avenue known to him to have an outstanding warrant. Carol Austin, 67, of White Plains was taken into custody on the outstanding charge of Criminal Mischief 3 rd Degree, a misdemeanor. She was arraigned in Mount Kisco Justice Court and released pending a future court appearance.
