Former New Castle Supv. Pool Endorses Democrats4New Castle Slate

Notes Candidates' Positive Campaign, Forward-Thinking Platform and Leadership Skills for June 22 Primary

Former New Castle Town Supervisor Ivy Pool has announced she is “strongly supporting” the candidacies of Holly McCall for New Castle Town Supervisor and incumbent Lori Morton, Jennifer Bounds and Michael Weinberg for New Castle Town Board in the upcoming Democratic primary on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.

“I have known all four of these candidates for years’ “ Pool said. “They have been in the trenches doing the work, in elected office, on volunteer boards and committees, and helping other Democrats, like me, get elected. They are workers and doers. Ask anyone who has served on the town board, and they will tell you that the best Board members are those who do the work and are all about service.”

“McCall, Morton, Weinberg, and Bounds are honest, thoughtful, incredibly smart, and they love this town,” Pool added. “The tone that they have set for their campaign is positive and friendly — how refreshing! They have a platform that is forward-thinking and achievable. They are talking about what they are for, and I appreciate that.”

“I am confident that the Democrats 4 New Castle have the right stuff to lead this community out of the pandemic and into the future, said Pool. “This is an important primary election and every Democrat should come out to make their voice heard.”
